SEMI-FINALS

June 8th, 2024

Game 1 Club América vs Pollo Campero C.F.

Already leading 3-0, Club América played a game that would guarantee their spot in the Copa ACDA Final. Nathan Osorio had the only goal of the first half in the 1’, giving Club América a 1-0 lead ending the first half. He then scores again in the 13’ followed by Ascencio in the 14’ and Vu in the 20’, and Club América advance to the final with a 4-0 win and 7-0 in total.

Game 2 Strongest Potatoes FC vs Waterboys FC

With a 5-0 lead from the first game, all Waterboys FC has to do is play intense defence, but missing their star player, Diosman Torres, an their goalkeeper, Valdez, playing out due to a wrist injury, this game could go in any direction. WBFC started with Huxley in net, and Valdez, Auba, and Vigil playing out. They did their job in the first half, with the score being 0-0, but an injury to Vigil late in the first half, had them down a player. The first part of the second half was full of chances for SPFC going over the crossbar, but a fire lit for Hector Torres who scored 5 goals in the 16’, 17’, 18’, 19’, and 20’. he gave it all on the field, but unfortunately, due to the 9 away goals scored by WBFC, it wasn’t enough to go through to the final. Hector Torres gets man of the match with 5 goals.
